Pastor Joseph Prudhomme is French-Canadian, born just outside of Montreal, Quebec. He began his journey with the Calvary Chapel family in 1979, at Calvary Chapel Napa, California. In April 1985, Pastor Joseph and his family moved to Illinois, where he planted Calvary Chapel Blue Island. Six years later, in January 1991, the Lord called him and his wife to Western Europe to serve as missionaries – mainly in Italy and Switzerland, planting churches.
In November 1992, the Lord opened the door for Pastor Joseph to return to Northern California to pastor Calvary Chapel Solano in Fairfield. Soon thereafter, Pastor Joseph established Trinity Biblical University, owned and operated by Calvary Chapel Solano, offering Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate degrees in six different fields of study.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Joseph has been actively involved in law enforcement chaplaincy since 1986. He is currently the Senior Chaplain of the Fairfield Police Department, the Solano County Sheriff’s Department, and the BART Police Department.
Almost 19 years later, Pastor Joseph is still ministering in Fairfield, where he resides with his wife Sandi, to whom he has been married for 30 years.
