WE BELIEVE… The bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. (2 Peter 1:19-21; 2 Timothy 3:16) There is one God, eternal existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4, Hebrews 1:3; Acts 5:3-4) In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule for a thousand years. (John 1:1-18, 20-28; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Mark 16:10; Revelation 20:4) In the pre-tribulation rapture of the Church. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. (Acts 16:30-31; 1 John 1:7-10) That regeneration by the Holy Spirit (to be born again) is absolutely essential for personal salvation. Pastors
- Senior Pastor Pastor Joseph Prudhomme is French-Canadian, born just outside of Montreal, Quebec. He began his journey with the Calvary Chapel family in 1979, at Calvary Chapel Napa, California. In April 1985, Pastor Joseph and his family moved to Illinois, where he planted Calvary Chapel Blue Island. Six years later, in January 1991, the Lord called him and his wife to Western Europe to serve as missionaries – mainly in Italy and Switzerland, planting churches. In November 1992, the Lord opened the door for Pastor Joseph to return to Northern California to pastor Calvary Chapel Solano in Fairfield. Soon thereafter, Pastor Joseph established Trinity Biblical University, owned and operated by Calvary Chapel Solano, offering Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate degrees in six different fields of study. In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Joseph has been actively involved in law enforcement chaplaincy since 1986. He is currently the Senior Chaplain of the Fairfield Police Department, the Solano County Sheriff’s Department, and the BART Police Department. Almost 19 years later, Pastor Joseph is still ministering in Fairfield, where he resides with his wife Sandi, to whom he has been married for 30 years.
- Family & Missions Pastor Pastor George Harris grew up in Southern California, and in 1982, he joined the USAF at the ripe age of 27 years 11 months! His first assignment sent him to Beale AFB in Marysville, California, and he has lived in Northern California ever since. Pastor George first met his wife Paula in 1989, and in 1992, they were married in Vallejo, California. Although they have no children, they keep busy at home by caring for their many cats! In 1996, they began attending Calvary Chapel Solano. After 21 years of active duty service, George retired from the military in 2003. Shortly afterwards, he became the Registrar for Trinity Biblical University, CCS’s online Bible college. George completed an Associate’s in Biblical Studies degree with TBU in 2004, and in April 2005, he was ordained as an Assistant Pastor for CCS. He currently serves as the church’s Family Pastor, Missions Pastor, and TBU Registrar. In January 2011, Pastor George was accepted to serve as a Law Enforcement Chaplain for the Fairfield Police Department. Pastor George and Paula love to read, travel, exercise, and serve the Lord together.
